Early Anniversary Celebration

We were invited to meet Carol & Sonya Christensen (who were our best man & maid of honor at our wedding) at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora at noon today.  This was to celebrate both our 50th anniversaries! Our actual date is next Friday & theirs Sept 22, so this was close enough to both to celebrate together!  We had a great lunch and then sat and chatted until nearly 4pm.  It was nice to sit & catch up/reminisce about the past and near past and folks from our college days.  We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Next Fri the two of us have reservations at the Glen Iris Inn for a dinner on our actual anniversary.  Celebrating more than once is always nice.
