Library's Cookbook Club

Tonight was the Cookbook Club at the library.  About 12 of us gathered at the library to share what each made from the cookbook of the month.  I made Black Eyed Peas and Greens which I had never tried before, but I'm so glad I did.  It had 2 cans of black-eyed peas, a can of diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, cumin & a pound of collard greens.  I also had to cook 6 strips of bacon (to cook everything else in the bacon grease) & crumble over everything at the end.  It turned out quite well & I think everyone liked it.
